Ex Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp made a swift return to Anfield – to see Taylor Swift’s debut concert.

The 56-year-old, who bid an emotional goodbye to fans when he stepped down as manager last season, attended the record-breaking Eras tour with his wife Ulla. The legendary manager confirmed his attendance on Instagram, sharing a short video clip with his followers on Thursday. He captioned the post: “Going back to a place I know ‘All Too Well’… See you at Anfield @TaylorSwift.”

In the video, Klopp said: “So! Back in Liverpool and now it’s Taylor time. So three things I had to do today. No I had two. A barber appointment with Umut then… we’re going out to Anfield”, reports the Liverpool Echo. “First time going to not for a football game but in the stands and watching Taylor Swift. So yeah, I’m not Taylor made obviously… but Taylor ready.

Fans were heard screaming as Taylor performed on stage. Jurgen sat far away from the stage but had a blast as he posted snaps from his time there. After the concert, he shared a selfie wearing a pink cowboy hat and captioned the post: “I guess I am officially a ‘Swiftie’.”

The pop star graced the city’s Anfield Stadium on Thursday night, kicking off her three-day performance stint at the location. Amid her Eras Tour stop, Liverpool has become “Taylor Town,” which is music to the ears of the countless Swifties who have descended on the briefly transformed English city for her performance between June 13 and June 15.
