Philadelphia Eagles star and Travis Kelce’s older brother Jason has admitted the sheer volume of celebrities trying to get into his VIP suite at the Super Bowl to see Taylor Swift was “overwhelming”.

Jason, who was cheering on his brother during the playoffs, spent time with Swift in a suite at the Super Bowl. He admitted on their New Heights podcast: “Turns out everyone wants to meet Taylor. Shaq came in the suite. It was my first understanding of the things she has to deal with on a daily basis.”

He added: “There were so many star-studded dudes there and everyone wants to come and see her, but the suite’s only so big. It was overwhelming to be honest with you. I was going out the suite and talking to people, the celebrity attendance at the game was unreal.” Swift had flown over 10 hours from Tokyo to Las Vegas for the game after performing in Japan the night before.

She was spotted at the stadium with rapper Ice Spice and actress Blake Lively, who she sat with throughout the game. Swift also spent time with Jason and their mum, Donna Kelce. Kelce finally met his brother Travis’ new girlfriend as they both cheered him on in the NFL Playoffs, first in Buffalo and then in Baltimore.

Jason became the centre of attention with his shirtless antics during the Divisional Round against Buffalo. The Eagles offensive lineman had a blast during his first weekend off after his team were knocked out, drinking from bowling balls at the Bills tailgate and going shirtless inside Highmark Stadium for most of the game.

He had warned his wife Kylie about his plans. “I’m not gonna lie, I gave (my wife) Kylie a heads up,” Kelce admitted on his “New Heights” podcast. “The moment we got into the suite, I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off and I’m jumping out of that suite.’ And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’”

“I was like, ‘Hey, I’m just letting you know it’s happening. I’m not asking for permission. I’m doing this.’” Since meeting Swift, Jason has only had positive things to say about her. The singer is now back on tour, having flown to Australia to kick off her busy 2024 schedule on the road.
