Michelin-star chef is ‘flown from the UK to Sydney to cook for Taylor Swift and her entourage’ during megastar’s Eras Tour in Australia

A Michelin-star chef has reportedly been flown from the UK to Sydney to cook for Taylor Swift and her team as the star continues her sold-out Eras Tour.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, chef Clare Smyth made the 21-hour trip in case Swift felt like dining at her fine dining restaurant Oncore by Clare Smyth – which is located inside the Crown Sydney, where Swift is staying.

Swift, 34, has reportedly hired out the Crown‘s presidential penthouse, which typically costs AUD $25,000 per night, and on Thursday her beau Travis Kelce arrived in Sydney to join her.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, an insider said Crown was so excited by the publicly generated by Swift’s stay that they are keen to make her stay a fairytale.

‘They’ve spared no expense, increased security and had staff sign NDAs to ensure her stay is nothing but perfection.’

The source claimed Irish-born Smyth planned to travel from the UK to Australia before Swift had even booked her stay at the Crown, just in case Swift decided to visit her restaurant while in Sydney.

Boasting breathtaking panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, Oncore by Clare Smyth has been named one of the top fifty restaurants in the world by the prestigious La Liste Awards.

Prices reach up to an eye-watering $330 for seven courses, plus $190 per person for wine pairings.

Smyth confirmed she had returned to Sydney on Wednesday, sharing a video of herself arriving at her restaurant.

‘Back in service with the team,’ wrote Smyth, who is the first and only female chef in Britain to hold three Michelin stars.

She later shared a picture of her colleague, chef Alan Stuart, preparing food in the kitchen wearing a stack of handmade friendship bracelets.
