Not long after the news broke, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes both sent messages of support for the victims. But that wasn’t enough for them, they attended a hospital to visit two of the victims who are children.

But visiting victims is not the only service the Mahomes family is going to provide. They also launched a new initiative that will get the victims more help than what they can offer for themselves.

Alongside wife Brittany Mahomes and their ’15 and the Mahomies’ foundation, Patrick announced a fund to help all the victims of this shooting. He write: “Just like #ChiefsKingdom has always been there for me and my family, we want to be there for them.

The Chiefs have launched #KCStrong, an emergency response fund supporting victims and their families, violence prevention and mental health services, and first responders. Please join me, Brittany and @15andMahomies to support and if you are able, donate.”

As the Mahomes family is dealing with helping victims, the Kansas City Chiefs’ legal system did charge two juveniles for crimes connected to the Kansas City Chiefs parade mass shooting.

There were three juveniles who were detained during the shooting but one of them was determined to not be involved in these crimes.

Currently, the police is still trying to find out if these two juveniles are the only ones involved with the shooting or anybody else is involved.

Simultaneously, the Kansas City citizens have been turning to religious gathers, vigils, and counseling in order to cope with the shock of what happened.
