Maren Morris couldn’t help but sing Beyoncé’ praises following the news that she is releasing a country album, called Act II.

While reacting to the 42-year-old’s shift into country, which includes the release of her hit track Texas Hold ‘Em.

The 33-year-old singer told E! News that she feels the superstar has ‘always been genre-less.’

‘I think the leaning into country elements and sort of reclaiming country music back to Black people because they created the genre is such a statement,’ Morris raved.
