In a move that is sure to stir up controversy in Hollywood, legendary actors Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg have announced that they will be partnering with Sylvester Stallone to launch a new production company focused on creating films that promote “traditional American values.”

The as-yet-unnamed studio will be spearheaded by Stallone, who has been outspoken in his criticism of the film industry’s perceived shift away from mainstream, family-friendly content.

“I’ve been in this business for over 40 years, and I’ve seen it change in ways that I don’t always agree with,” Stallone said in a recent interview. “There’s a hunger out there for movies that celebrate the values that made this country great – things like patriotism, faith, and hard work. Washington and Wahlberg, both of whom have enjoyed tremendously successful acting careers spanning multiple decades, expressed their enthusiasm for the project.
